The next meeting of the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) will be held in Durban, South Africa just before the AfricaSan+5 conference. The meeting is planned to monitor progress of the working groups and other activities of the SuSanA, and update and coordinate the commitments of the partners. The meeting is open for all who want to actively contribute to the aims of the SuSanA. Groups, persons, institutions working on sustainable sanitation issues, that have not been at the first SuSanA meetings in Eschborn, Duebendorf, Stockholm and New Delhi and are interested in joining the “Sustainable Sanitation Alliance”, are very welcome to participate.
On Friday evening (February 15th 2008) from 18:00 to 20:00 a meeting of the SuSanA working group on sustainable sanitation for cities is planned.
Furthermore a SuSanA side-event is foreseen as an official part of the AfricaSan+5 on Sunday, February 17th 2008 followed by an AfricaSan+5 Meet and Greet co-hosted by the SuSanA.
