The USAID Hygiene Improvement Project has prepared a “Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Improvement Training Package for the Prevention of Diarrheal Disease” which provides information for organizations worldwide that seek to add WASH activities to their current programs or to start a diarrhea reduction program. It is intended to support the training of local outreach workers and their work in communities to promote improved WASH practices to reduce diarrhea.
The Training Package consists of three separate parts:
(1) a step-by-step “Guide for Training Outreach Workers,”
(2) an “Outreach Worker’s Handbook” for community outreach workers to use during and after training, and
(3) a “Collection of Resource Materials” to use as a source for visual aids.

Dear all
I am working in social research field since 1998 .And i have seen more 10 state of India wash programme.most of the state funded for build a toilet but nobody aware of this programme.
And some of the state community try only getting the money .They got money and build a toilet and use this toilet for storage.
For water supply chain India has build the water tank and provide water chain but due to water that was only to show to government.
Most of the rural areas community not interested to use toilet facilities.they are interested to defecation in open space.
In India most of the people goes to Tirupat and Sai temple they eat food of these temple but before eating food they do not wash them hand because no facility bofore the eating after eating it was available .
